Temecula, CA – Child Killed, Several Injured, in Auto Wreck on Anza Rd near Highway 79
Temecula, CA (July 28, 2022) – A vehicle crash reported on Sunday in the Temecula area claimed one child’s life while leaving several other people injured. On July 24, emergency crews responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Anza Road.
Reports provided by the County fire show that two vehicles collided on Anza Road in the area near Highway 79 during the morning hours. The crash prompted the police and firefighters to close off a large portion of the roadway at the intersection as they tended to several people who suffered injuries.
One child suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other pediatric patients and one adult suffered serious injuries. Three other adults suffered moderate injuries. All seven victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency medical aid.
The crash is under investigation by the police at this time.
