San Pedro, CA – Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle near W 22nd St & S Grand Ave
San Pedro, CA (August 12, 2022) – A vehicle crash reported in the Central San Pedro area left one bicyclist injured. At around 9:34 p.m., on August 10, the Los Angeles Police Department was notified that a crash took place on West 22nd Street that required assistance.
LAPD reports show that a bicyclist was traveling near West 22nd Street and South Grand Avenue during the evening hours. At the same time, a vehicle passed through the intersection and struck the rider.
The bicyclist sustained injuries due to the crash.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for emergency treatment of injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
