Los Angeles, CA – Seven Hurt in Major Crash on Slauson Ave near Alamo Ave in Maywood
Los Angeles, CA (October 3, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported in Los Angeles County on Sunday that sent several victims to area hospitals with injuries.
Just before 3:00 p.m. on October 1, officers with the Los Angeles police department and firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene of an automobile collision on Slauson Avenue.
According to official reports, a total of five vehicles collided on the roadway at the intersection of Alamo Avenue in the Maywood neighborhood.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located all of the damaged vehicles. Several victims were trapped inside two of the involved vehicles. One vehicle came to rest on its roof.
Firefighters had to extricate the victims.
A total of seven individuals were harmed in the accident. Three of the victims were admitted in critical condition. One other victim suffered moderate injuries. Three other victims were transported for emergency care of minor injuries.
The Los Angeles police department is currently investigating.
