Fatal Car Accidents in California
Every year, California witnesses the tragic loss of thousands of lives in fatal car crashes. Negligent drivers who share the road are responsible for many of these accidents, claiming the lives of innocent individuals. Some common forms of negligence that lead to accidents in our state include:
- Running red lights: It is disheartening to see a significant number of collisions caused by drivers who disregard stop signs and traffic signals. These accidents often result in severe injuries, and sadly, more than half of the accidents in our state occur at intersections.
- Speeding: California roads have designated speed limits for everyone's safety. These limits are set to ensure that vehicles travel at a speed suitable for the road conditions and other factors. When drivers exceed these limits, they put others at risk of life-altering accidents and injuries.
- Intoxication: Drivers under the influence of alcohol or drugs pose a significantly higher risk of causing motor vehicle accidents that result in serious injuries to victims.
