Los Angeles, CA – Crash with Injuries Reported at W Vernon Ave & S Figueroa St
Los Angeles, CA (June 19, 2022) – A major motor vehicle accident took place in the Vermont Harbor area that left at least one person injured. Just before 10:30 p.m., on June 16, emergency crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash on West Vernon Avenue.
Reports from authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on West Vernon Avenue in the area of South Figueroa Street. For unknown reasons, an ice cream truck collided with several vehicles at the intersection. While responding to the crash, the police patrol vehicle was struck by a metro bus.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
