Los Angeles, CA – Two Killed in Tampa Ave Crash near Atlanta Ave
Los Angeles, CA (October 9, 2024) – Two people have lost their lives as a result of a fatal accident that occurred on Tuesday evening in the Los Angeles area. The police and firefighters were called to the scene of the accident in the Porter Ranch neighborhood at around 11:15 p.m. on October 8.
Official reports show that a gray BMW was traveling north on Tampa Avenue. For unknown reasons, it collided with a white Toyota that was making a left turn onto Atlanta Avenue just past Chatsworth Street. The impact of the collision caused two people to be trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters rushed to the scene and utilized the Jaws of Life to extricate the victims, who were identified as men in their 50s. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the BMW, identified as a 20-year-old man, was rushed to an area hospital for emergency care. The investigation into the accident is currently underway.
