Rialto, CA – Ashley Gilroy & Two Others Killed, Several Injured in Auto Accident on Riverside Ave near Valley Blvd
Rialto, CA (August 3, 2022) – Several people died as a result of a fiery crash in the Rialto area on Monday evening. At around 6:30 p.m., on August 1, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s office responded to the scene of a crash that occurred on Riverside Avenue.
Preliminary investigations show that at least seven vehicles collided on Riverside Avenue at the intersection of Valley Boulevard during the evening hours. The crash caused severe delays in the area.
A man in his 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of his injuries. Two other victims, 33-year-old Ashley Gilroy, and her 8-year-old daughter, both suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased by responding officers.
Several other victims suffered injuries as a result of the crash and had to be transported to local hospitals.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
