Newhall, CA – Five Victims Hospitalized after 14 Freeway Crash near 5 Freeway
New Hall, CA (July 4, 2022) – A motor vehicle accident reported in the new Hall area left several people injured. At around 1010 a.m., on July 1, the Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on 14 Freeway.
Reports provided by authorities show that a collision between vehicles occurred on the southbound side of the 14 freeway, just north of the five freeway during the morning hours. The incident blocked several lanes at the intersection, causing moderate delays throughout the area.
Police and firefighters closed off a large portion of the area as they worked to clear the scene and restore the flow of traffic.
A total of five people suffered injuries as a result of the accident. The victims were transported to area hospitals for further care.
At this time, the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
