Newbury Park, CA - Two Victims Lose Lives in Crash on Hwy 101
Newbury Park, CA (November 1, 2024) – Emergency crews were requested at the scene of a fatal accident that occurred on Thursday morning and claimed the lives of two people. The collision was reported to California Highway Patrol troopers at around 5:30 a.m. on October 31.
Official reports indicate that a car in a big break collided on the southbound side of Highway 101 near Wendy Drive. Authorities rushed to the scene and located a 2016 black Honda Civic with significant damage blocking the road. Authorities confirmed that at least two of the people involved in the accident were ejected from their vehicle. Two people sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced deceased by authorities. The other two victims were injured and transported to Los Robles Regional Medical Center for emergency care. At this time, the incident is under investigation.
