Los Angeles, CA – Woman Killed in Car Crash on E Olympic Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (December 27, 2023) – A fatal accident reported on Tuesday morning on the east side of Los Angeles claimed one woman’s life while leaving at least one other person injured. The crash occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on December 26.
Reports from the California Highway Patrol indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision near the intersection of East Olympic Boulevard and South Vancouver Avenue. The force of the collision caused one of the vehicles to careen off the side of the roadway and strike five parked vehicles. Authorities responded to the scene of the accident and located several damaged vehicles blocking the roadway. A black pickup truck came to rest on top of a dark-colored sedan, blocking multiple lanes of the road. One of the vehicles overturned and came to rest on its roof.
One female involved in the accident incurred fatal injuries. She was pronounced deceased on site. At least one other person was injured and transported to an area hospital for emergency care. The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
