Los Angeles, CA – Juan Arias Loses Life in Pedestrian Crash on N Fries Ave
Los Angeles, CA (July 5, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that 36-year-old Juan Arias lost his life as a result of an automobile accident that occurred on Monday in the Wilmington neighborhood.
At around 9:00 p.m. on July 3, Arias was launching fireworks in the 700 block of North Fries Avenue in Wilmington, just west of the Long Beach area.
For unknown reasons, a vehicle traveling through the area struck Arias as it was leaving a shopping center. The vehicle was identified as an SUV, which fled the scene.
Arias was fatally injured as a result of the accident. He was pronounced deceased on-site.
The police department is actively investigating the collision.
