Los Angeles, CA – Fatal Crash on Arlington Ave at Venice Blvd
Los Angeles, CA (November 17, 2023) – Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were requested at the scene of a major accident that took place in the Arlington Heights neighborhood. The crash was reported at around 10:00 p.m. on November 14.
According to reports from LAPD, a man and a woman were crossing Arlington Avenue from the eastbound side of the road near the intersection of Venice Boulevard. As the two pedestrians proceeded across the road, they were struck by a vehicle. The vehicle proceeded southbound following the crash.
After the initial collision, a second vehicle traveled through the intersection and struck the pedestrian a second time. The pedestrian, identified as 24-year-old Taylor Jackson, incurred fatal injuries in the accident. She was pronounced deceased by the Los Angeles City Fire paramedics. The condition of the second pedestrian is not known at this time. At this time the incident is currently being investigated.
