Car Accidents in California
A traffic accident can change your life forever. In an instant, you can be left with painful physical and emotional injuries that prevent you from working in engaging in other activities that you like. Regrettably, tens of thousands of people across California are left with severe injuries as a result of crashes that take place annually. There are many reasons why these accidents continue to happen day after day, despite the number of laws and rules in place to protect our residents.
Drivers who run red lights and pass through stop signs at intersections are another major problem in California. Running a red light is extremely dangerous, and it often leads to accidents. Drivers who fail to yield the right-of-way are also a major problem. This can cause serious accidents, especially at intersections.
Driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol is illegal, and it can be very dangerous. Impaired drivers often have trouble staying in their lanes, and they may have slower reaction times. This can lead to serious accidents, even if the impaired driver is not speeding or running red lights. Unfortunately, we see a significant number of crashes occur in California as a result of drivers who are intoxicated.
Drivers who fail to yield to others are another leading cause of collisions here in our state. When making turns or merging into traffic, they may not see oncoming vehicles, which could cause a collision. Impaired drivers are another danger on the roadways. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol increases the risk of being involved in an accident.
If you have been hurt as a result of a car accident, you may be able to pursue legal action. A Los Angeles car accident lawyer can help you prove your case and seek the maximum amount of compensation possible for your damages.
