Arcadia, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Crash on I-210 E at Santa Anita Ave
Arcadia, CA (December 29, 2024) – An accident early Sunday morning on Interstate 210 East near North Santa Anita Avenue left one person dead and two others injured.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and firefighters responded to the scene at approximately 3:25 a.m. on December 29. Reports indicate that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others sustained injuries. One of the injured was trapped inside a vehicle and required extrication.
By 3:39 a.m., emergency crews had successfully freed the trapped individual, and an additional medical unit was dispatched to assist. Both the HOV and #1 traffic lanes were closed, with officials estimating the closure would last two hours while investigations and cleanup were conducted. Further details about the cause of the crash are under investigation by CHP.
